And welcome to my first Bellabox
review and my first blog post!
So I was very excited to receive my
first Bellabox and I have to say I was a tad disappointed.
I was very impressed
in how quickly my Bellabox came, I received the shipping email on Friday and
got the box on Monday.

Aveeno

first reaction:
I haven’t tried this yet, but will
give it a go. Not expecting much from it.
After
trying it:
Still haven’t tried it yet, guess I’m
not that excited in trying it.

first reaction:
I was excited to receive this as I
had seen it in the sneak peak. So far I will definitely be buying the full size
product.
After
trying it:
Yep I definitely love this product;
it leaves my hands feeling silky and smooth. With working in retail my hands
come in contact with lots of dust and dirt and my they are left feeling rough
and dry. Initially I didn't like the smell, but after using it every day since I
got it, I quite like the smell. I think this product will definitely help me heaps;
the sample size just wasn't enough so I went and bought 2 of them from
Bellabox!

Burt’s Bees Radiance Facial Cleanser

first reaction:
Haven’t tried this yet, but next
time I go for a walk I will.
After
trying it:
I didn't like the smell! And that
put me off. Don’t get me wrong the cleanser did everything I expected it to do;
it left my skin feeling refreshed and smooth, and can definitely see why you
would use it after a workout. I don’t know if I’ll try it again, but I won’t be
buying the full size product.

Swisspers Facial Wipes
The
ultimate gym or handbag must have. A true multipurpose item, remove your makeup
at night or freshen up during the day with these cleansing wipes.
My
first reaction:
I think I've tried these wipes
before, not the best wipes I've tried, but it will be handy for when I go
travelling.
After
trying it:
Yep I've tried these before and
because I have sensitive skin, I can’t really use them that often. I mainly use
wipes to remove my eyeliner and when I use these my skin goes red and burns a
little bit (I think it may be from the rubbing?? But also could be the
ingredients used). They remove my eyeliner nicely and are smooth and moist. I
won’t be buying the full size as I already have a favourite wipe.

Australis Lipstick – Shade

first reaction:
Not a big lipstick fan, so probably
won’t try this, but it’s a nice shade.
After
trying it:
This is a full size sample. I haven’t
tried this shade on me as I don’t wear a lot of makeup, so it will go in my
draw until I need it.

Bonus: Palmer’s Cocoa Body Butter
It’s a sachet and I don’t like them,
because I find it hard to get the product out and it’s only one use! My first
reaction was meh!. The sample cost is $0.12 for 5 ml and you can buy the full
size for $9.99 for 400 ml.
Final Verdict
Out of the 6 sample products I
received there is only 1 that I have gone and bought. So I have to say I was disappointed,
I will continue my subscription as I still want to try new products.
Total
Box Cost:
$22.17 – so for $15.00 I definitely got
my value, but the only reason why it’s this high is because of the full size
lipstick.
